I went from a p3 katmai to a coppermine, no problem. The time now is BIOS and everywhere else shows Mhz fine. But then again that’s only my theory.. And if it supports Mhz then it supports all MHz bus Coppermines because multis are locked. Ws440b for higher multiplier settings, and for stepping Down the voltage to the coppermine.
The Intel machine is basically my wife’s computer and I am looking to extend its inteel as far as possible. Chances are remote with an Intel board that there are jumper settings that allow you to do this manually. I did a fair amount of looking as well, and got to where you are and gave up.
